From Our Director
I welcome you all to the new academic year of AIS 2018-2019
We recognize that in order to be successful in school, our children need support from both the home and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s successes and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities. We ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that he/she:

• Attends school daily and arrives on time, ready for the day’s learning experience
• Completes all homework assignments given by the teacher
• Reads daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills
• Shares school experiences with you so that you are aware of his/her school life
• Informs you if he/she needs additional support in any area or subject
• Knows you expect him/her to succeed in school and go on to college

Together, we will create a year of excellence for our children as we focus on improving students and family engagement, implementing our own curriculum framework.
We will continue to emphasize on making our vision and mission the course of our daily work with children, teachers and parents In living up to our claim of creating a culture of college readiness, this year we will build shared understanding about what this means and ways parents and teachers can work together to ensure that every AIS student is college-ready.
For this purpose, we are encouraging our high school students to focus and work diligently from the beginning of the school year to achieve high marks in all areas.
This year, we are glad to inform you that we will be implementing AIS’s rules, policies and structure of work more clear and transparent for the parents to understand and follow.
We will be reinforcing 100% compliance with our school uniform policy as part of our efforts to continue improving the learning climate in our school. Our school administration is always ready to attend to your needs.
Once again I welcome you in our AIS community and firmly believe together with you as a community and parents and we as AIS will achieve our common goal to the highest. That in OUR STUDENTS ACHIEVE THE BEST IN THEIR LIFE.
